What Kind Of Chemical Bond Involves The Sharing Of Electrons Between Two Atoms?

What kind of chemical bond involves the sharing of electrons between two atoms?

Hello!

What kind of chemical bond involves the sharing of electrons between two atoms?

Solving:

The Ionic bond

That is the connection between two opposing charges (cation and anion).

In order to have an ionic compound it will be necessary to have a bond involving a chemical element (metal) of low electronegativity, with the other chemical element nonmetal (ametal), remembering that the metal accommodates the cation (positive charge ion) and non-metal accommodates the anion (negative charge ion). The ionic bonding occurs between chemical elements of Families 1 and 2 and between atoms with high electronegativity.
